Prolific Indore, a team of independent filmmakers, has officially released their highly anticipated sci-fi short film, “Knights & Chaos.” This ambitious fan project brings together iconic characters from DC and Marvel—Batman, Joker, and Scarlet Witch—in a gritty, visual spectacle shot entirely in Indore.
A Unique Crossover Event “Knights & Chaos” is a high-concept thriller that explores a multiverse collision. The story follows ‘The Knight’ (Batman) as he battles a new, terrifying version of ‘The Maniac’ (Joker). However, the conflict escalates when a mysterious red energy—wielded by Wanda Maximoff—interferes, signaling a breach in the “Vanguard Grid.”
Local Talent, Visionary Approach Despite operating on a zero-budget model, the film boasts VFX and cinematography that rival professional studio productions. Directed by Ritik Raghuvanshi and edited by Anurag Panchal, the film utilizes practical locations in Indore, transforming abandoned factories into a cinematic battleground.
“We wanted to prove that you don’t need a massive budget to tell a great story. You just need passion and the right team,” said Anurag Panchal, the film’s Editor and VFX Artist, who also plays the role of ‘Maniac’. “Every frame of this movie was crafted with love for the comic book universe, right here in Indore.”
